Style File: Food lover friendly dressing

by Amanda Bedgood

The best in holiday dressing post (too much) turkey day

Now that we have a few extra pounds of holiday goodness on our hips and we've survived Black Friday, it's time to get down to some festive dressing a la IND Style. You think I jest. But, this IND Styler keeps it real and I know I'm not the only one that went a bit overboard on the eats. (Don't act like you just ate the one slice of pumpkin pie.) Instead of torturing yourself with another pair of spanks, look for something that's forgiving this time of year.

I've spotted two dress options that will hide graham cracker crust transgressions from now until you make your New Year's resolutions. Over at Vanessa V. a solid black solid sequin short sleeve dress is just the ticket. We would love it with colored tights. Or try black opaque tights and some bright bright shoes in a festive color like red. This is the perfect shape to wear with dressy booties in lieu of a more traditional heel.

The red long sleeve dress from Knotting Hill screams holiday party and we're screaming to wear it with the combination of gold and silver embellishments. It's another dress that could work well with either demure pumps or a more dressy bootie. Perfect with a black satin bootie and statement earrings.

Stay tuned this season for the very best in IND Style picks no matter how many trips you made to the dessert table.
