Colette Billeaud has joined the UL Lafayette Foundation as its chief financial officer. A CPA and notary public with more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership and nonprofit accounting, she is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the foundation's financial, accounting and investing activities. For most of her career, Billeaud has served as director of finance for Lafayette General Medical Center. She has also had various roles in the insurance, investment, financing and real estate industries. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from UL Lafayette, where she graduated cum laude.

Blake David of Broussard & David was sworn in as 2012-2013 president of the Lafayette Bar Association, along with his board of directors and fellow officers, by his law partner Richard Broussard. David is leading one of Louisiana's largest local bar associations, a membership organization that represents more than 900 attorneys and judges in the Lafayette area. David was named to the Rising Stars list by Louisiana Super Lawyers, is rated "AV" by Martindale Hubble, and listed as a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers. He was honored as the 2009 "Outstanding Young Lawyer of Louisiana" by the Louisiana State Bar Association. His other professional associations include the American Inn of Court of Acadiana (past president), Louisiana Association for Justice (board of governors), Federal Bar Association (Lafayette-Acadiana Chapter past president). David earned his juris doctorate from LSU. Leslie Albarado Thibodeaux has rejoined MidSouth Bank as manager of its Moss Street location. Thibodeaux is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Moss Street banking center and will work to develop new business throughout the Upper Lafayette market. For the past seven months, she was an assistant manager at Regions Bank and before that worked for MidSouth Bank for nine years as a universal banker and as a branch manager for Republic Finance for seven years. Thibodeaux graduated from Northside High School and attended UL Lafayette. She is a Notary Public.

Monique McBride** has joined Patterson State Bank's Lafayette loan production office in the Stirling Properties building on Pinhook Road as a senior loan officer. The Lafayette native has 32 years of banking experience and 11 years of mortgage lending experience. She will be producing both residential and commercial loans for the bank, including home construction/permanent financing, home refinancing, and commercial construction/refinancing. Founded in 1925, the Patterson-based bank also has full service branches in Berwick and Morgan City, and loan production offices in Metairie and Lafayette.

Stacy Patin has been named volunteer services manager at Our Lady of Lourdes. She is responsible for developing a more extensive volunteer program and recruiting new volunteers throughout the community. Patin previously worked in the Lourdes Practice Management Department as a physician recruiter. Dr. John L. Thibodeaux has joined Lourdes Primary Care Network. Thibodeaux, of Erath, earned his medical degree at LSU in New Orleans and completed his residency in family practice at Lake Charles Charity Hospital. He has served Erath and the surrounding communities for 30 years. Thibodeaux is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice, a member of the Clinical Teaching staff of the LSU Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine, preceptor at the Family Practice Residency Program at UMC and is a member of the clinical staff of Vermilion Rehab Hospital in Abbeville.

She oversees clinical content and continuing education and assists with the design, development and maintenance of existing and new interactive online health care educational programs. Boutte has more than 37 years of clinical and administrative health care experience, having worked in hospital administration, perioperative management and nursing services. She earned an MS in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and a BS from UL Lafayette. She is a board certified nurse executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Elaine Alderman has joined Keller Williams Realty Acadiana market center as a real estate agent. Alderman, who attended UL, recently retired from the restaurant business. Mary Rozas and Sally Snyder also have joined the firm. After living in Texas for 10 years, Rozas moved to Louisiana with her family and attended UL. She has four years of experience in the service industry. Snyder attended LSU-S in accounting and business management and recently relocated to Lafayette to be closer to family. Before becoming a Realtor in the Dallas area, she was an accountant in the oil and gas industry. Teresa Williamson Theriot has joined the firm as assistant team leader. Dr. Quentin M. Brisco of Richardson Chiropractic Group has been named Chiropractor of the Year by the American Black Chiropractic Association. The honor was announced at the organization's 2012 Annual National Convention held in Miami. The ABCA was established in 1982 by Dr. Bobby Westbrooks to unify minorities, primarily in the practice of chiropractic. In a career spanning just less than five years, Brisco has become a recognized leader among African-Americans in the chiropractic field. Brisco received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College near Houston in 2007 and his BS from Southern University in Baton Rouge. Since returning to Louisiana to practice at the end of 2008, he has been a mentor to student-athletes. He also serves as a high school official for both football and basketball in the Acadiana area.

UL sales team members Ryan Robin (finance major), Brittney Kuepferle (marketing), Fallon Bearb (marketing) and their coach, Dr. Duleep Delpechitre, won the Team Championship at the International Collegiate Sales Competition hosted by Florida State University in October. The international competition is designed to help students compete on a world business stage. The first international stage at which the Team Champions will compete is in Paris, France, in April. They are being sent on an all-expense-paid 10-day trip to participate in the International Collegiate Sales Competition-Europe. The Florida competition was sponsored by companies such as ADP, the Capital Group, Cox Media, Frito Lay and others seeking the top sales students for employment in their companies. The UL students outperformed students from universities with large, prominent sales programs such as those at Baylor, Florida State University, Kennesaw State, Kansas State, University of Alabama, the University of Texas at Dallas and Duquesne.

Dupré Logistics has hired John Bilke as director of supply chain solutions. Bilke has 30 years of experience in the industry and relocated from Houston to work in Dupré's Lafayette headquarters. He is responsible for designing and engineering solutions for logistics partners to optimize supply chain processes. With a background in logistics operations, procurement, fleet maintenance and software integration, Bilke has implemented multi-million dollar supply chain solutions. Most recently, he was director of logistics/procurement/maintenance for Aquilex HydroChem and has worked with large-scale trucking and logistics companies such as Ryder Systems, J.B. Hunt and Cardinal Logistics. He has a BS in economics from Texas A&M University. Bobby Jindal appointed Jenny Korner to the Louisiana Serve Commission, which works to build and sustain high quality programs that promote and support citizen service and involvement in government and private programs throughout this state. Korner is director of sales for Fairfield Inn and Suites in Lafayette.

Salvaggio is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology. He earned his doctorate at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge. He continued his studies at Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute, where he completed his cardiology fellowship, and completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego. LHC Group Inc. has elected Christopher S. Shackelton to its board of directors. Shackelton will serve on the audit and corporate development committees of LHC Group's board. Shackelton is co-founder and managing partner of Coliseum Capital Management in Stamford, Conn., a private investment company that invests with a long-term orientation in undervalued companies. Shackelton previously served as an analyst with both Watershed Asset Management and Morgan Stanley & Co. He has significant corporate directorship and charitable trusteeship experience. He serves on the board of directors of Providence Service Corp. and previously served on the board of directors of Rural/Metro Corp. and Interstate Hotels & Resorts Inc. Allstate Insurance Company has recognized Allstate exclusive agency owner Chris Mahoney with the President's Conference award for high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitable business growth. His agency is now one of the top Allstate agencies in the nation in auto, property, commercial, power sports insurance and financial services sales.

Acadiana Metro Realty has named Janita H. LeBleu as the company's sales manager. LeBleu, a 35-year industry veteran, oversees the firm's residential and commercial sales divisions. LeBleu, a licensed broker, is a graduate of the Realtor's Institute of Louisiana and holds a GRI designation. She is a member of the Realtor Association of Acadiana, Louisiana Realtors Association, the National Association of Realtors and the Realtors Commercial Alliance.

Curry is the seventh CFP in the firm. He practices in the areas of taxation and wealth management. Aaron Arceneaux, visual communications expert at FASTSIGNS of Lafayette, was recognized with the Bronze Sales Award at the 2012 FASTSIGNS Outside Sales Summit in Dallas. The Bronze Sales Award is presented to outside sales consultants who achieved a sales total between $200,000 and $399,000 from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Out of the more than 450 FASTSIGNS centers in the U.S. and Canada, only 29 outside sales consultants received the award.

LeBlanc, who has been with MidSouth since 2007 and has 12 years of banking experience, retains her duties as banking center manager of the Dulles location, which primarily serves west Lafayette and the Scott area. LeBlanc, an assistant VP at the bank, is now also leading retail project implementations, including new products, software and initiatives.

Fred Reggie, president of Fred Reggie Associates, was selected by the Delta Regional Authority to serve as executive academy facilitator at the kick-off session of the 2012-2013 Delta Leadership Institute in St. Louis. Reggie, an alumnus of the DLI 2007 Leadership Class, is a business coach and professional speaker. The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons** has granted three-year accreditation with commendation, which is the highest level of accreditation for a cancer program, to Our Lady of Lourdes. Accreditation is awarded to facilities and programs with a multidisciplinary approach that promotes cooperation among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists. Lourdes' oncology program received the accreditation following an on-site evaluation by a physician surveyor who reviewed the full scope of the hospital's performance and compliance with CoC standards in an effort to provide the highest level of cancer care. To maintain accreditation, its cancer program must undergo an on-site review every three years.

The Delta Regional Authority works to improve life for the residents of 252 counties and parishes in parts of eight states by supporting job creation and improving quality of life through strategic economic development investments in the Delta region's communities, families, and businesses.

Apex Innovations' Hemispheres Stroke Competency Series, a highly interactive online stroke series, was awarded the 2012 EWARD for the 2012 Technology Product of the year for the Lafayette region. EWARDS is a celebration of innovation and achievement for those in the state who have had a positive impact in technology over the past year.

The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons has granted three-year accreditation with commendation, which is the highest level of accreditation for a cancer program, to Our Lady of Lourdes. Accreditation is awarded to facilities and programs with a multidisciplinary approach that promotes cooperation among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists. Lourdes' oncology program received the accreditation following an on-site evaluation by a physician surveyor who reviewed the full scope of the hospital's performance and compliance with CoC standards in an effort to provide the highest level of cancer care. To maintain accreditation, its cancer program must undergo an on-site review every three years.
