Native Woman

We've been talking a lot about color.

We've been talking a lot about color. Bright, bold color that seems to be en vogue year round. But fear not if you're a fan of the neutrals and earth tones. They're still around. And thanks to the new way to wear native, totally on trend.

Ensembles of all black, taupe, cognac or the colors of western plateaus go pop with Native-inspired accents.

A statement sweater like this one below from Shoe La La works with a multitude of looks. Top it over an all black ensemble and riding boots for a more mellow look. Try with a funky maxi skirt and piles of Aztec-inspired jewelry for a more daring look.

And then there are the printed pants. This neutral pair from Vanessa V. is a little bit wild without being too loud. We're loving how the ladies at the boutique styled it with other neutral pieces on our own IND Style winner Crystall Coroy. They kept it neutral with basic colored pieces and, yet, utterly on trend with that fantastic hat (you know how I love a good hat). - AB
