In addition to its Friday all-you-can-eat seafood buffet, the Vermilionville restaurant is opening up a weekend gorge fest for meat lovers. Vermilionville's La Cuisine de Maman is famous for its plate lunches and its Friday seafood buffet. But now, the restaurant is serving up a buffet Saturday and Sunday composed entirely off barbecue.
The restaurant sent out a release today that says, "We know that after a Friday without meat, you need your fill." So this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., it'll be serving the all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The buffet comes with chicken and sausage gumbo or a side salad with a buttermilk biscuit to accompany the barbecue chicken, ribs and pork chops. Sides include baked beans, corn bread dressing, grilled corn on the cob and rice dressing. For dessert, it's carrot cake or bread pudding. All this can be yours for $11.95.
