Hearts of Hope's mission is to reduce the trauma experienced by sexual violence in Acadiana, and roceeds from the event will be donated to Hearts of Hope's three programs: the children's advocacy center, sexual abuse response center and sexual assault nurse examiners.

The wine expo, presented by Republic National Distributing, begins at 6 p.m., and the competition is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person, or purchase a table of 10 for $1,000. Call Hearts of Hope at 269-1557 for ticket or sponsorship information.
