The fundraiser is to support Hearts of Hope while dozens of chefs compete for the Best of Show award. The 28th annual Acadiana Culinary Classic is a gathering of chefs from across the country who will compete for the Best of Show Award while raising money for Hearts of Hope this Monday, March 4, at the Cajundome Convention Center.

Hearts of Hope's mission is to reduce the trauma experienced by sexual violence in Acadiana, and roceeds from the event will be donated to Hearts of Hope's three programs: the children's advocacy center, sexual abuse response center and sexual assault nurse examiners.
The wine expo, presented by Republic National Distributing, begins at 6 p.m., and the competition is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person, or purchase a table of 10 for $1,000. Call Hearts of Hope at 269-1557 for ticket or sponsorship information.
