OK, this ain't local. But a cookie cake? HAUGHTON, La. (AP) - A 44-year-old Haughton man is facing charges after deputies say he hit his father with a cookie cake.

Bossier Parish sheriff's spokesman Lt. Bill Davis says Kenneth Fulmer got into an argument with a neighbor over a dog on Monday, which was also his birthday.

While Fulmer went out for drinks, Davis says his 77-year-old father went out and bought him a cookie cake for his birthday.

When Fulmer returned home drunk, Davis says he got into an argument with his father and attacked him with the cookie cake.

Fulmer was booked on charges of simple battery of the infirmed and disturbing the peace.

It was unclear whether Fulmer has an attorney.
