Easter Best

Spring's freshest pieces for Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday always was a special day around my house as a child. While other children waited with great anticipation for the onslaught of candy, it is true that this little IND Styler looked forward to a new outfit.  Complete often with a matching hat, sometimes gloves and even a little bag, Easter's best was always an ensemble of fresh springy hues and patent shoes. Keep your Cadbury's, this girl just wanted a fresh new pair of ruffly sock. And so, it is no wonder I find it impossible not to want a new ensemble this time of year.

Today, our first installment of Easter Best dresses we've spotted about town.

At Brother's we found the epitome of Easter dress. With a flirty shape and every-figure flattering wrap dress design, this floral is perfect for Easter with some nude pumps and then great later with some neutral wedges with natural details like rope or cork.

At Vertage, their demure lace-topped dress marries spring's two big trends - mint and lace. The fresh white cries for a strand of simple pearls come Sunday, but could go to the office with the addition of spring's white blazers.

Over at Little Town a fit and flair dress in melon (it's all about the melon and mint, ladies) is also just the sort of piece that works from the sanctuary to the board room. Come Easter, try it with a fresh minty green necklace or bold white statement piece. And swap out for a simple gold necklace for work time.
