The UL Lafayette Opera Theatre is premiering its newest production Death Takes A Holiday tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Burke-Hawthorne Theatre on the UL Campus.
The UL Lafayette Opera Theatre is premiering Maury Yeston's latest musical Death Takes A Holiday tonight at the Burke-Hawthorne Hall Theatre.
The musical is based on an Italian play as well as a 1934 movie of the same name, which tells the tale of the grim reaper choosing to take some time off from collecting souls for a weekend vacation at an Italian villa. The play is directed by Shawn Roy with music directed by David Boudreaux.
Death Takes A Holiday premieres tonight with showings from March 21-23 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee showing on Sunday, March 24 at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for individuals, $5 for anyone under 18 and free for UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff.
