Cowboy Mouth + DTA! = mighty roar

Cowboy Mouth

Cowboy Mouth hardly needs an introduction. The New Orleans quartet has been barnstorming the nation for more than a decade, blasting enthusiastic crowds with their high-octane, hook-laden pop rock. But Friday at Parc International for the weekly Downtown Alive! concert, the band will get a unique introduction - by the Lafayette High Mighty Lion Marching Band.

Having a high school marching band open a DTA! is a first. The ensemble will perform from 5:15-5:45 p.m. Cowboy Mouth will crank it up at 6 and perform until 8:30.

Downtown Alive! is a free event and concession sales help keep it that way so please leave the ice chests at home.
