Women's and Children's Hospital Kids Specialty Center, 4600 Ambassador Caffery
A free event featuring a summer activities fair, including summer camps present for registration, and other summer programs in the Lafayette area. Additional activities include a family fitness expo, games, rock wall, fun jumps and free snacks. Don't forget to bring along a teddy bear for the E.R. Teddy Bear Clinic. **Celebrate Earth Day
Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park, 300 Fisher Road
**This is an event to create community awareness of the Earth and inspire others to make green changes in their lives. Activities include live music, demonstrations and presentations by local green community organizations and businesses. Some topics feature gardening tips, solar panels installation, recycling efforts and sustainable design for homes. On the agenda for kids are crafts, a scavenger hunt and greenhouse tours. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and children 6 and under are free. For more information, visit the Bayou Vermilion District website.

City of Lafayette Aquatics Water Safety Awareness Day
Robicheaux Center Pool 1919 Eraste Landry Road

Free to the public, parents and children learn more about safety and swimming with information provided by COLA, including how to register for swim lessons and swim team registration. Additional activities for families include balloons and face painting, food, games, and displays from local businesses for parents.
