On Thursday, May 2, Hearts of Hope will present "An Evening with Elizabeth Smart" at Our Savior's Church in Lafayette.
Elizabeth Smart's story - the June 2002 abduction from her Utah home and miraculous recovery from kidnapping in March of the next year - riveted the nation. Since then, Smart has become a gifted motivational speaker and advocate for strengthening child-abduction laws and helping the young victims of abduction.
On Thursday, May 2, Hearts of Hope will present "An Evening with Elizabeth Smart" at Our Savior's Church in Lafayette. Hearts of Hope has been helping child victims of sexual violence in Acadiana for more than 50 years.
