ASO presents Paris 1922: All That Jazz

The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra is crafting its own melodic window into the Parisian Jazz revolution of 1922 with its Hubbell Chamber Music Series Finale Paris 1922: All That Jazz. The evening's performance welcomes guest artist Shawn Roy on baritone and piano accompanied by ASO Chamber musicians.

Paris 1922: All That Jazz starts Friday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the door or by visiting AcadianaSymphony.org

Wanderlust Theatre presents Twelve Angry Men

Wanderlust Theatre brings Reginald Rose's classic Twelve Angry Men to the stage of Theatre 810 this weekend with an ensemble cast playing the various roles of 12 complete strangers charged with the duty of determining the fate of a young man standing trial for the fatal stabbing of his father in 1957.

Twelve Angry Men premieres Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Theatre 810 in downtown Lafayette with a matinee performance on Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m., and runs June 6-8. Let's Help The Animals! Workshop

Lafayette Animal Aid is partnering up with Dr. Leslie Jacobs Pediatric Dentistry for a family fun day of face painting, fun jumps and beautiful companion animals. Lafayette Animal Aid will also be dispensing information on adopting pets, volunteering at the area's only no-kill animal shelter, short-term fostering, and how your donations can save lives. Guests can also get their dog microchipped for a $25 fee.

Let's Help The Animals! begins Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at Dr. Leslie Jacobs Pediatric Dentistry, located at 113 Rue Fontaine. Admission is free and all are welcome. For more information visit LafayetteAnimalAid.org.
