The folks at PASA know a thing or two about artful presentations

The folks at PASA know a thing or two about artful presentations - their gala was no exception. The same night The Great Gatsby opened nationwide, The Victorian in Broussard was filled with Gatsby-era flappers, gents in bops and dapper dudes in tuxes Mr. Jay Gatsby himself may have envied. Prissy Wilson (who was honored with husband David and six others) killed it with red lips and a 20s-era hat. Richard Young's venue was filled with black and white drapes, a Prohibition Era vibe (we loved that bathtub filled with ice and booze) and a lotta ladies with feather headbands. Elizabeth Bernard was stunning in a shimmering dress and sparkling headpiece. Crystall Coroy also sported a sparkling headpiece with her sequin-covered dress. And Roxanne Graham was at home in her flapper dress - the absolute Cat's Meow.

Downtowners, out-of-towners and All-Stars were dressed to the teeth for the Acadiana All-Star Kickoff Gala held at Acadiana Center for the Arts May 18. The red-carpet, star-studded event allowed fans to come together and meet sports celebrities, such as hosts Kyries Hebert, former Ragin' Cajun defensive MVP and NFL record holder, and Saints Super Bowl Champion Roman Harper. A silent auction, live entertainment and plenty of mingling kept the party going. Proceeds raised help benefit the Ky Cares Acadiana All-Star Weekend Football Cheer and Dance Camp that provides area children with an opportunity to learn skills and mentoring from the pros.
