Pack it up

Style never takes a vacation. Bring yours along with a hearty dose of comfy no matter where you travel.

The essentials of vacation should be as easy as the long days lounging and breezy nights lounging some more. And while comfort is key on these respites, we all love good pics to commemorate those sun kissed days. We've got the essentials for your laid back vacay with enough style for the fashionista and enough comfort for any lazy traveler.

The first thing you need are the super comfy kicks. We love the bucketfeet sneaks over at Maven Womenswear. With a funky print that would take any t-shirt and cutoff combo to a fun place they are utterly comfortable for those long walks. Speaking of cutoffs, we're loving the variety of them over at Hemline.

They have them paired in our pic with a linen camp shirt (another must have for travel). Denim shorts are perfect to throw over a swimsuit or for a day shopping. A camp shirt of linen is the breezy option for covering up. Great with shorts and just as cute with palazzo pants or a maxi.

For a day at the beach the absolute essential is a good cover up. This green print from Vanessa V. is just the way to go from lounging poolside to a bite at a nearby café. Add some flat gladiators and a chunky necklace and no one will be the wiser that you've got on that bikini underneath.

For nights eating out a little romper is casual cool. We love black and white - especially of the striped variety. This romper from Jewelie's is styled with a pop of tomato red but would look amazing with just about any color from mint green to cobalt blue.

And for the bag to hold it all - Tory Burch, of course. Over at kiki they're celebrating all things travel with a big ole sale all month long - 30 percent off travel handbags and accessories for the month of June.
