After a rain delay, Lafayette's must see art event slated for Saturday
Lafayette is a place for art. Go somewhere else if you don't believe it. This place is brimming with artists and if you're looking for the pared down best of the best a good bet is this weekend's Big Easel event in River Ranch.
In less than 10 years the events has gone from less than a dozen artists to more than 60. And while in some cases one worries of the quantity versus quality debate - no such concerns here.
This is a juried group. Under the eye of the ever discerning Jeffery McCullough (an art rep who pulls no punches) the Easel has become a place for artists established and burgeoning with one common thread - talent.
The event is from 9 to 4 in the Town Square of River Ranch Saturday with enough variety in style and price to fulfill any artist lover's leaning.
