Style's gone to the dogs

Annual runway show for Lafayette Animal Aid

You know how much this IND Styler loves fashion with heart. And so, we'll be rolling out Wednesday night to the 2nd Annual Red Carpet Runway Show at The Madison for a show that brings out beautiful two-legged models and their four-legged pals.

The benefit show began last year at Dunn's Furniture and Interiors (you know how that Judy Dunn has a soft spot for the pups) with a bold concept - send the models down the runway with dogs in tow.

It's an unexpected choice and one that sets the event apart. They move this year to The Madison and will pull in auction items from retails packages including custom art, jewelry, a speckled trout fishing trip for two and a private dining experience for eight.

Tickets are $35 and the event is from 6 to 9 p.m. to benefit Lafayette Animal Aid and Acting Up in Acadiana with eats and drinks from Le Triomphe and fashion hitting the runway from Maven Menswear and Womenswear as well as 7 Chics. We can't wait to see what summer fashion they'll rock tomorrow night. And per usual, this IND Styler will be on the lookout for style beyond the runway, so bring your best, my two-legged friends.
