This is an interesting post on moneyunder30.com about the places to be if you're young, single and broke. Of the top 10 cities in the US so named, two are in Louisiana: Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The top city on the list is Austin, with Baton Rouge at number five and NOLA at seven. BR is singled out for its petrochemical jobs and NOLA is dubbed "Hollywood South," with lots of jobs in film and hospitality.
