Suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill has pleaded guilty to simple battery in connection with a bar fight in April.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill has pleaded guilty to simple battery in connection with a bar fight in April.

Hill entered the plea Friday in state district court in Baton Rouge. He was not sentenced to jail time, but his future with the team remains in question: It was not immediately clear how the plea will affect his probation stemming from his January 2012 plea of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Judge Michael Erwin ordered Hill to perform 50 hours of community service and pay $175 toward the medical bills of a victim in the fight.
