The restaurant at 512 N. Parkerson Ave. hopes to open July 22. This will add to the growing chain's five dining locations and five Zeus Expresses, all of which, except for the full service restaurant on Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles, are in Acadiana.

"We are ecstatic to be bringing Zeus to Crowley and further our mission to serve healthy, delicious food in the cities throughout Acadiana," said Nidal Balbeisi, president of Balbeisi Business Consultants. "Acadiana has embraced our food, and the success of Zeus is truly a credit to South Louisiana's love, support and desire for fresh food that always tastes great."

As ABiz previously reported, Balbeisi has his third Agave Tex-Mex location under way on Camellia Boulevard in Parc Lafayette and is converting the old Gallagher's on University Avenue into a UL Lafayette hangout called Linebacker's.

Zeus PR rep Amy Jones says two additional Zeus restaurants are planned but would did not say where they are locating.
