Miles Perret Cancer Services presents Games of Acadiana Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Cajundome.

Miles Perret Cancer Services presents Games of Acadiana Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Cajundome for another year of play with a purpose - having fun while raising funds to continue serving families in Acadiana faced with cancer. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. kids of all ages can enjoy a bevy of games - crowd favorites like rock wall climbing and life-size Angry Birds return, while games such as a photo scavenger hunt and an inflatable obstacle course debut.

This year, Games offers an area just for younger children as well - Play and Learn With Me will provide activities in an area for children up to age 3. Tiny ones can enjoy age level play while older kids explore the countless booths hosted by generous sponsors.

One feature at Games that piques INDfamily's interest is the Harley Haircuts booth sponsored by Bradley & Moreau real estate attorneys. The booth offers kids a chance to get their hair cut while sitting a top a Harley Davidson - moms, it's the solution to getting your child excited about a fresh hair cut.

Spaghetti dinners will be available for $5 with proceeds benefitting MPCS and additional MPCS staff will be on hand to help with registration for Camellia Crossing, another fund raiser that benefits families dealing with cancer.
