Wednesday is the deadline to purchase tickets for the 2013 ABiz Acadiana Top 50 Business Luncheon, which will be held at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Cajundome Convention Center.
This year's keynote speaker is John Georges, the New Orleans busineses who surprised Louisiana newsmakers and political observers with his recent purchase of The Advocate.
The luncheon is produced annually by ABiz to honor the CEOs of Acadiana's top 50 privately held companies, determined by reported gross revenues. Topping this year's list is Frank's International, which marks the second and last time the company will receive the top 50 recognition following its recent public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.
Presenting cosponsors for the event are the law firm of Allen & Gooch and Whitney Bank. Additional sponsors include Frank's International, Pinnacle Group, Vidox Motion Imagery and Alford, Staples, Lapeyre & Robichaux Insurance.
