Big cats make a mark for fall
Let's start with a disclaimer: You don't have to be an LSU kind of gal to rock the tiger trend. This fall, the tiger stripes and figures of the beast of the jungle along with other big cats are much more about fashion forward dressing than allegiance to the purple and gold. (But, we're sure it's a bonus to find trend worthy pieces that will work over in Death Valley.)
The tiger print has long appeared again and again, but this new incarnate of the big cat is our favorite with portraits of tigers emblazoned on T-shirts and prowling tigers on silky tops. Even Katy Perry's roll-down-your-windows jam "Roar" has us in the mood for tigers.
Vanessa V. has a great black and white print tiger top that will work well under the fall's must have moto jackets and vests. For weekend, pair with a slouchy boyfriend jean and simple necklace.
Hemline's silky little top is a nod to the jaguar and perfect for office. Try with simple ankle pants and menswear inspired oxfords or with a slim pencil skirt and mile high heels. However you wear it, we're sure you'll be queen of the jungle.
