Ladies, lunching and fashion

Benefit for Another Child Foundation

Judy Dunn gathered a bevy of ladies at Oakbourne Country Club for the first ever ladies luncheon and fashion show to benefit Another Child Foundation and Love Inc. The woman who helms Dunn's Furniture and Interiors was decked in her usual zebra with a hearty dose of accessories and a smile that never seems to fade.

That smile, on this day, was likely because she was making a difference in a cause close to her heart - Another Child Foundation. The organization helps children and families in some of Romania's most impoverished areas and Judy herself has spent time in the country working to improve their lives. The luncheon was a first in Lafayette with a small sort of market before things got kicked off with goodies like Origami Owl from Sunni Bienvenu with proceeds going toward the causes. Ladies dined and checked out the latest in fall style from Lemon Drop, Birdie's and Vanessa V. Boutique.

Sunni herself switched into model mode with a versatile top from Vanessa V. over leggings and she's pictured with the ever fabulous Lindsey Falgout in a native print dress and easy boots with a pop of color on her scarf. The ladies of Vanessa V. are pictured at the bottom in just the sort of easy pieces and must haves for fall - wear every day comfy pants, bold scarves, ponchos and dresses that go now bare legged and into fall with boots.

But, it was perhaps Judy's nod to Vergie Banks little red trike that most captured our hearts. She created a grown up version complete with zebra accents and, of course, bright red that went up for auction.
