Three things we're loving right now
There's a lot going on in our favorite boutiques right about. Fall shipments are arriving and that little chill in the breeze during the morning hours gives me a reason to want all those boots and jackets and fur vests. I've rounded up three pieces that I fell in love with upon first sight. There are more. But, today let's just check out this trio.
At Hemline, the ladies have brought a brilliant idea to life - custom Lafayette bracelets. These bangles have the geographic coordinates for our dear city on them. It's the perfect gift for the Lafayette lover - especially one that has moved away perhaps - and great for every single day.
Over at Maven Womenswear I spotted this leopard beauty fresh out of the box. It's a dress or a top depending on your vibe. This tall IND Styler would love to see it with some skinnies or cool moto leggings. And bonus - it nails the leather trend that's everywhere for fall in a vegan way.
I am a lover of dusters, kimonos, flowy things of all sorts. Add something a bit tribal and I'm done for, which is why I had a big ole crush on this long kimono from Vanessa V. We love the contrast they used with the blue scarf. This would be a great piece over all those leggings that are back for fall and perfect if you're feeling not so hot about your back view in snug pants. Try with a little fitted dress and moto boots for a funky take. A piece that's sexy and covers at once? Definitely one of my favorite things.
