BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal's one-time health secretary will be questioned under oath Oct. 29 in a lawsuit filed against the Jindal administration over a canceled Medicaid contract.
Bruce Greenstein's deposition had been scheduled this week, but was pushed back to coordinate with lawyers' schedules.
Greenstein's questioning is part of a lawsuit filed by Client Network Services Inc. accusing the state of breach of contract for firing the company from a $200 million Medicaid claims processing contract.

The Jindal administration wants to delay Greenstein's deposition, while a separate criminal investigation into the Medicaid contract award is ongoing. A judge denied the request, and his decision is being appealed.
The Jindal administration has accused Greenstein of inappropriate contact with CNSI throughout the bid process. Greenstein has denied any meddling in the contract decision.
