The agenda for Wednesday's LPSB meeting includes a discussion item from a board member who wants to share his "personal" thoughts and concerns on styles of leadership.

The item is listed as an informational report on Wednesday's agenda under the heading "District 8 Representative's view, concerns, and beliefs of different leadership styles." School Board member Hunter Beasley is the representative of District 8.

The IND reached out to Beasley on Monday to get some specifics about his concerns and beliefs regarding leadership, but our voice message was not immediately returned before this story went live.

According to the meeting's agenda, Beasley's report Wednesday will include a "Brief overview of various leadership models/styles," as well as his "concerns" and "personal beliefs" regarding those models and styles of leadership.

"Yeah, we really have no idea what that's about," Superintendent Dr. Pat Cooper tells The IND. "It is interesting, but he didn't contact anyone to give an explanation, so I guess we'll have to wait and see on Wednesday."

The meeting begins with a board workshop at 4 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.
