The Children's Shelters and Louisiana Ice Arena partner up
Looking for a nice way to ease in to cooler temps with the kids? Head out to the Louisiana Ice Arena on Saturday, Nov. 9 from noon -2:45 p.m. to get in some ice skating that will also help benefit The Children's Shelters. From every paid entry, $3 will be donated to help residential programs for adolescents.
State budget cuts have cause The Children's Shelters to close one program - your help keeps the two existing programs, Maison de Mere and STEPS, providing services to children in need of building a better life through shelter assistance.
