Willie Nelson and Family were set to perform Wednesday night at the Heymann Center, but due to an unfortunate vehicle accident involving his band's tour bus (not Nelson's), the performance has been postponed until Nelson and company can get back on their feet.

"It has not been canceled; it has been postponed," says Dennis Skerrett, venue administrator at the Heymann Center. "We're working on the dates now."

According to a statement released on Nelson's website, the overnight accident occurred early Saturday morning on icy roads near Sulphur Springs, Texas, and resulted in three band members being hospitalized.

Ticketholders for Wednesday's show needn't worry, as their tickets will carry over to the new date.

"If you have tickets hold on to them," says Skerrett. "They will be honored. And when the show is rescheduled, those tickets will be good for the new show. If for whatever reason when we issue the new date and the date doesn't work for someone, then they're welcome to get a refund."

Stay tuned to HeymannCenter.com and the Heymann Center's Facebook page for more information on the rescheduled date.
