First Baptist Lafayette presents its annual Singing Christmas Tree performance with a cast of more than 200, including 85 choir members, in Keep Calm Christmas is Coming. The annual Christmas show travels back to 1940 England when the Germans bombed London and the English Crown encouraged Britains to Keep Calm and Carry On. And for the first time since the church began the Singing Christmas Tree in 1985, the entire show will be original, with play by First Baptist Minister of Worship Arts Tim Walker, and original songs by noted Nashville songwriter David Clydesdale. Walker will also star in the show.

Keep Calm Christmas is Coming will be performed on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m., at First Baptist Church, located at 1100 Lee Ave. in downtown Lafayette. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and children. Tickets are available through the First Baptist office, online at FBCLaf.org, or by calling (800) 965-9324.
