Singer-songwriter Josh Ritter takes the stage at the AcA this Thursday along with Gregory Alan Isakov.
The Acadiana Center for the Arts' Singer+Songwriter program presents Josh Ritter along with special guest Gregory Alan Isakov. Ritter is well known for his distinctive Americana style and narrative lyrics and was even named one of the "100 Greatest Living Songwriters" by Paste magazine in 2006.
Ritter recorded his first, self-titled album when he was just 21 after recording it while still attending college. After being spotted by Glen Hansard of the band The Frames, Ritter started sharing the stage with other musical acts including The French Kicks, Joan Baez and violinist Hilary Hahn. Seven albums later, Ritter has established himself as a singer/songwriter extraordinaire.
Josh Ritter performs on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m., at the Acadiana Center for the Arts, located at 101 W. Vermilion St., in downtown Lafayette. For more details as well as ticket information, visit AcadianaCenterfortheArts.org.
