UL alum Ladarius Green in River Ranch Saturday
This Saturday NFL star and UL Ragin Cajun alum Ladarius Green will be on hand at Bengals & Bandits in River Ranch signing autographs and meeting fans. The event at the sports' clothing store on Main Street is slated from 1 to 2 p.m. and all autographs will be free with the purchase of a UL item in the store the day for the event.
The Florida native wrapped his best season in the NFL in 2013 after catching three touchdowns including a game winner in the NFL Playoffs versus Cincinnati. The appearance is Green's first trip back to Lafayette and he is ready to return to the Hub City where it all began.
"It will be nice to get down there and see all the great fans, friends, alumni, coaches and teammates from my Lafayette days," Green says.
In addition to his in store appearance at Bengals & Bandits on Saturday, Green will throw out the first pitch for the UL Ragin Cajuns baseball game vs. UL Monroe at 3pm at Moore Field.
