LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Jace Conrad and Seth Harrison each drove in three runs for Louisiana-Lafayette in a 14-8 win over Mississippi State on Sunday night that forced a deciding game in the regional.

The Ragin' Cajuns, ranked No. 1 in many national polls, broke open a 3-3 game with a three-run third inning in which Caleb Adams and Chase Compton had RBI singles, and Adams scored on Harrison's sacrifice fly. Louisiana-Lafayette (56-8) piled on from there, getting six more runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Conrad hit a two-run homer in the first for the Ragin' Cajuns, who got a strong start from Cody Boutte (9-0) and will play Mississippi State (39-23) again on Monday.

The Bulldogs scored two runs in the seventh, two in the eighth and one in the ninth, but their comeback attempt fell short.
