Police say thieves gained entry through roof of Feu Follet Road business.
The Lafayette Police Thursday morning issued a press release seeking the public's help in locating the thief or thieves who broke into Andy's Jewelry at 204 Feu Follet Road Sunday.
Police say the suspect(s) gained entry through the roof, disarmed the alarm system "and compromised the safe and jewelry cases with unknown tools."
They then removed a large amount of jewelry from the business and fled the area by unknown means.
Lafayette PD did not immediately respond to an emailed request on whether there have been any developments in the case since this morning.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the burglary to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
