Jindal's press secretary out already

After no more than a two month stint, Gov. Bobby Jindal's newest press secretary, Sarah Haley, is no more. Haley's departure, according to the Associated Press, was confirmed Monday by Jindal's office, which made no mention of the reason for her leaving.

Haley's short tenure on the job was covered in full by blogger C.B. Forgotston, who from the beginning predicted she was hired to handle Jindal's bid for the presidency:

She lists her occupation as Press Secretary.' However, she doesn't say for whom or even in what state she lives. What's she hiding?' My concern is that if Haley's only real job is working in Jindal's presidential campaign, why are we in Louisiana paying her?

Forgotston's repeated attempts to reach her by Twitter all proved unsuccessful - apparently that was the only way to contact her at first. And according to Forgotston, Haley was a rare sighting in Baton Rouge, with many in the media not even knowing who she was. It turns out that Haley - a former assistant to Mitt Romney's wife and Diane Sawyer - actually lives in Memphis.

Despite drawing the ire of Advocate columnist and Jindal fanboy Quin Hillyer for his treatment of Haley, Forgotston couldn't help himself when Haley issued a press release with the misspelled name of a legislator:

Haley not being able to spell the names of Louisiana leges is no surprise. She's only been seen in Baton Rouge three times since she was hired over two months ago.
