Cajun meets Asian rolled and ready to eat in Broussard
If you love Cajun food with an interesting twist, take a look at what's on the menu at Hook & Boil. This might sound a little strange, but we assure you, these egg rolls are worth every bite. The outside appears to be a delicately fried egg roll, but the inside is what makes this dish great: boudin mixed with a little pepper jack cheese. If that's not enough to sell you, it's topped off with a sticky-sweet sauce, drizzled over the egg rolls for your pleasure.
Other great dishes from Hook & Boil include a mind-blowing Oyster Rockefeller dish with spicy creamed spinach and jumbo lump crab, boiled shrimp or crawfish with a choice of sides and a variety of burgers including the option to build your own burger. If you save room for desert, try the white chocolate bread pudding with pecan praline sauce.
