EatLafayette Dish of the Day: Legends Annex's tuna wrap

by Kari Walker

Seared Ahi tuna, greens and a spicy Asian sauce ready for lunch Downtown

Tucked Downtown across from Parc International sits Legends Annex, a popular hangout and lunch spot. The Annex is known for its casual menu of burgers, wraps, salads and quesadillas - oh, and a frozen margarita or ice cold beer is always a nice add on if it's the end of the work day.

Today's dish of the day is the tuna wrap - $8 gets you seared Ahi tuna steak sliced and served on a wheat warp filled with mixed greens, tomato and a spicy Asian sauce. It's the perfect summer dish for something fresh and full of flavor and can also come as a salad for a low-carb option. For those a bit more hungry, the Hawaiian burger is quite the sandwich with a half-pound burger, Pepper Jack cheese, crispy bacon and pineapple - aloha, y'all.

Legends Annex is also the place for the late night crowd looking for a bite. After all, this Downtown gem sits right on a popular patio between its sister property, Legends Downtown, and neighbor Marley's Sports Bar.  When you mention EatLafayette, you get half of a dine-in meal item - grab your friends, something to eat and something to drink and get to Legends Annex.
