EatLafayette Dish of the Day: Chef Gregory's pulled pork nachos

by Madeline Hurst

A ballpark snack topped with BBQ meat can be found cruising town on a food truck

Chef Gregory has operated restaurants in Los Angeles and New York City, but in his retirement decided to open Chef Gregory Food Truck in Lafayette to serve up something playful. You can find his truck by the Horse Farm market off Johnston Street or you can also catch him at his dine-in location on Millcreek Road.

Pulled pork nachos are a fun food truck treat.

Chef Gregory's most popular dish is the pulled pork nachos. Sour cream, pulled pork smoked for 16 hours, jalapeƱos and a special blend of cheese sit on a bed of crispy tortilla chips that will have you begging for a taste. Chef Gregory's other best seller is his award-winning pulled pork sandwich - the same pork from the nachos also comes on a grilled ciabatta bun with pickles, lettuce and blue cheese coleslaw.

If that doesn't convince you to try this culinary experience, the Chef Gregory Restaurant offers 10% off to any EatLafayette customers from 5-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, including to-go orders.
