EatLafayette Dish of the Day: Nimbeaux's boudin sliders

by Madeline Hurst

Cajun favorites to comfort on Pinhook Road

If you're looking to try some great Cajun cuisine, head over to Nimbeaux's Cajun Restaurant on Pinhook. The fried catfish is always a great choice, but there are plenty of other items on the menu that will get your mouth watering.

Try the shrimp and corn grits for $8.99 - crispy fried shrimp are plated over sweet homemade corn grits. Or, the boudin sliders with Nimbeaux's own home-fried potato chips make for a tasty Tuesday lunch. For something a little meatier, try the alligator sausage appetizer or the alligator sausage poboy - this sausage is Cajun cuisine at its best.
