A comprehensive listing of special menu features, pairings and events for the week of Aug. 4-9

The first ever EatLafayette Food, Wine, Beer & Spirits Experience will happen the week of Aug. 4-9. This new experience is aimed to keep the excitement of the local dining campaign going as summer draws to an end - these in-restaurant events happen as a collaboration between restaurants and the wine, beer, spirits and soft drink sponsors of EatLafayette. Here is a list of participating restaurants and special menu items and events taking place during the week. Check back often for additions to the experience.

2 Paul's Radically Urban Barbecue (Lafayette location)

Anne's Table
Receive the Grand Bateau Bordeaux or Nouveau Monde Merlot with shrimp paella Silver Ridge Chardonnay or Due Torri Pinot Grigio delle Venezie with a quinoa salad
Aug. 7-9

Burgersmith
Pair the roasted chicken sandwich with a Canebrake beer. This sandwich is a chicken breast topped with spices, roasted red peppers, Colby jack cheese, lettuce and chipotle mayo on a wheat bun.

Café Vermilionville
A four course prix fixe menu for $28 is offered with a pairing of Wild Horse Pinot Noir or Simi Sauvignon Blanc for $7 a glass.

Charley G's
A two course dinner for $30 offers a choice of Caesar salad or smoked duck andouille gumbo or seasonal soup followed by a four ounce filet with crab cake, smashed potatoes and green beans - pair a glass of wine for $6.

E's Kitchen
A secret dinner with Chef Mica and Bayou Teche Brewing pairs each course with a Bayou Teche beer - cost is $75 and 20 spaces available. Tickets are available for purchase online at E's Kitchen.

Free wine tasting with chocolate pairing - chocolates are available for purchase at discounted price to tasting participants.

Jolie's Louisiana Bistro
All Louisiana beers are $3 during happy hour 5-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday

Tuna wrap and a strawberry or strawberry-kiwi mojito pairing for $16 (regular price $20)

Poor Boy's Riverside Inn
Blue Rock Filet for $18.95 - filet mignon topped with Rockefeller sauce and finished in the oven with bubbly blue cheese crumbles. Featured Wine is the Simi Cabernet for $36 a bottle.

Nimbeaux's
One complimentary beer of your choice with an order of fried catfish or crab cakes or one complimentary glass of wine of your choice with an order of grilled catfish or crab cakes. This promotion is good for lunch Monday-Friday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Mention the EatLafayette Food, Wine, Beer and Spirits Experience to receive promotion.

Social Southern Table & Bar
A two course dinner for $29 offers a house salad or seasonal soup followed by a four ounce filet with smoked shrimp with Gouda mashed potatoes - add a glass of Hayman & Hill Meritage for $6.

Social's Lessons in Libations cocktail class includes an appetizer plus two craft cocktails for $32 per person - participants will learn how to make two craft cocktails from one of Social's knowledgeable bar staff members while sharing the evening with other Lessons in Libations participants. Tickets are available for purchase online through Social Southern Table & Bar.

Southside Bakery
Purchase a Mexican burger with fries and a Mexican Coke for $10 - the burger comes on a bun with chili, lettuce, tomato, avocado, Pepper Jack cheese and jalapeños.
