ASWELL: DHH REPORT IS A BUNCH OF BALONEY
AUG 6 Conservative bloggers and Jindal apologists may have swallowed them, but blogger Tom Aswell isn't buying the rainbows that the state Department of Health and Hospitals is selling. DREHER: BISHOP SAYS "TRUST US"
AUG 6 Blogger Rod Dreher writes about the current upheaval in the Lafayette Diocese in this post. The Bishop's statement to the people? Trust us. The problem with that is, history has given Lafayette Catholics good reason not to trust the Diocese when it comes to pedophiles, Dreher writes.

PR: JINDAL "A FORMER HINDU FROM INDIA"

DESHOTELS: TENURE NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER
AUG 6 If there is any time that teachers needed tenure, it is now, writes blogger Mike Deshotels in this post. He's covering a lot of ground here, including local and national threats to teacher ethics and integrity, Campbell Brown and the necessity of teacher unions. Although he's always been affiliated with one of them, Deshotels is urging teachers to join either union to protect themselves.
