Memorial set for Spider Guidry

by Walter Pierce

Friends and family will celebrate Spider's life in September.

A memorial service has been set for Milton "Spider" Guidry, the popular, 61-year-old man-about-town, lounge singer and host of AOC's Sainstline who died over the weekend in California from an apparent heart attack.

The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 in the chapel at Martin & Castille Funeral Home on St. Landry Street. The family indicates that a more detailed obituary on Spider will be published the week of the service.
