SO, WE LIKE MONOPOLIES AND PIZZA?
SEP 25 Here's an interesting story from the Point Blank blog about internet searches by state; this one focuses on which brand names are searched most by residents of each state. Our top search? AT&T. In second place? Domino's. The best combo is arguably is that of Oklahoma, where the top search was Skyy Vodka, followed by V-8. Maybe they like bloody Marys there?

SEP 25 This post on SB Nation features a Q&A with New Orleans artist Linda Woolard, who started a petition aimed at revoking the NFL's non-profit status. It's very interesting and full of stuff you probably will wish you didn't know about the NFL. But before you assume she's anti-football, think again, because Woolard is a die-hard Who Dat.

SEP 25 In this post, blogger Tom Aswell is asking the question that has to be testing the intestinal fortitude of folks in the Jindal administration: now that former DHH Secretary Bruce Greenstein has been indicted on perjury charges, will prosecutors try to flip him to get a bigger fish? BUZZFEED: FIRST, HE WAS A TROLL
SEP 25 Here's the thing about the interwebs, kids. That stuff stays out there forevs. Like, forevs. This post on BuzzFeed features a collection of trolly-type tweets from Zach Dasher, before he decided to run against the guy the duck people liked before they found out he kisses ladies in hallways.

SEP 25 Blogger Michael Deshotels reposts a letter to the editor in a local newspaper about predatory charters here. The writer, Michael Kreamer, is warning Lafayette to be cautious about predatory charters and the impact they can have on a community and its schools.

SEP 25 Politico offers this post about a new David Vitter fundraiser. At Disney Land. Activities include a "Hoop-Dee-Doo BBQ," a "hootenanny," a "finger lickin' countrified feast," and golf with Sen. Vitter. Too easy.

SEP 25 This post on the Brody File features an editorial signed by our Governor about our President and abortion. But the preface is a lot more interesting than the editorial, because basically that's just more blah blah about the health care act. In the preface, blogger David Brody is giving Jindal some advice about how to get people to vote for him.

SEP 25 Here are a bunch of fascinating maps posted on Vox that present some routine information in interesting ways. One of the most interesting is the fourth one, which shows the richest person in each state, and their net worth. Louisiana's richest person is Tom Benson, who is only worth a paltry $1.5 billion -- but at least we're doing better than Delaware. Their richest guy isn't even worth a billion.
