Crowley police chief candidate in jail for failing to pay child support

KATC reported Thursday that Crowley police chief candidate Bendell Hunter is serving 90 days in jail for failure to pay more than $11,000 in child support.

Hunter is one of three candidates in the chief's race. He and Madeline Robinson Cronin are challenging incumbent K.P. Gibson.
