Timeless LBD

by Amanda Bedgood

Our fav dress for all seasons

I have this little black dress. We are in a long term relationship. That bad boy has seen events and weddings and funerals and business meetings and everything in between. If you don't have a reliable go-to LBD I suggest you find one. (Note: They aren't on Tinder or match.com)

The key is fit and versatility when committing to an LBD. A shape that will hide that 5-10-pounds that come and go (Oh, that's just me? Never mind.) is crucial.

Maven Womenswear has a great draped deep v-neck dress that can go easily from a blazer to cocktails. At Vanessa V. we love this lace-skirted variety that looks like a top and high-waisted skirt but without that awkward bunching that can happen when you tuck in a shirt. Brother's on the Blvd. is doing the LBD with a sheer neckline that's equal parts sexy and demure.

All three are just what works from day to night with the swap of jewelry and shoes. That's love.
