A legend in the Acadiana Oil Patch, Jerry Lee Comeaux died Monday, Nov. 17.
A lifelong resident of Lafayette and former board member of LAGCOE and Bright Light Foundation, the former professional golfer - Comeaux played on the PGA Tour - helped organize the Louisiana Oilman's Golf Tournament.
During his 35-year career in the oil industry Comeaux spent his spare time golfing and fishing with friends, frequently at Toledo Bend.
Comeaux was 70 years old.
