DEC Here's a post from the Advocate's Quin Hillyer. In it, he's talking about how "we" do politics in Louisiana. Does this guy think we're stupid? He lives in Alabama, and we all know that. Can't Georges find a mouthy conservative who lives here?

DEC 1 This story on Real Clear Politcs quotes Bobby Jindal as saying the GOP needs bold leaders, not politicians. The writers assumed he was taking a shot at Chris Christie, but is Jindal seriously saying the GOP doesn't need guys who talk all the time but don't really do anything? Huh.

DEC 1 Since Jason Brad Berry and Lamar White Jr. broke the story about Bill Cassidy billing taxpayers for work at LSU on days when he was in DC, the mainstream media has been sluggish to catch up (not surprising, since all of them had to have this same info). But Cassidy's buddies haven't been as this update post on Lamar's blog indicates. They've been busy bees, letting us know that there's nothing to see here!

Real World NOLA cast member dies
DEC 1 A member of the Real World New Orleans cast died on Thanksgiving day, this post on NOLA Defender reports. The young man, whose addiction was exploited by the MTV program, died after "partying" with friends.
