Come 2016, Lafayette Parish will have a new sheriff.
During a press conference Monday, longtime Sheriff Mike Neustrom announced he’ll finish out his term — his fourth — but won’t run for re-election in the fall, saying he’s ready for “something different,” according to a report by The Daily Advertiser.
We reached out to Neustrom for comment but did not immediately hear back before this story’s posting.
