LaPolitics: Vitter rolling in dough

The campaign recently reported raising more than $4 million in 2014 from 2,500 Louisiana donors with almost $3.5 million in the bank.

LaPolitics’ Jeremy Alford is reporting today that U.S. Sen. David Vitter’s campaign kitty for this fall’s run for governor is flush with cash; Vitter’s campaign recently reported raising more than $4 million in 2014 from 2,500 Louisiana donors with almost $3.5 million in the bank. Meanwhile, the super PAC supporting Vitter’s candidacy, the Fund for Louisiana’s Future, reported raising $3.9 million so far with $3 million in the bank.
