Jindal to visit LITE

by Nathan Stubbs

Gov. Bobby Jindal will be in Lafayette on Thursday to speak to business leaders with the Chamber of Commerce about the upcoming legislative session. The event, which is not open to the public, will be held at the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise, Lafayette’s world-class 3-D visualization center. LITE public affairs manager Erin Fitzgerald says that this will be the Governor’s first visit to LITE, and staff is hoping to have time to walk Jindal through the center. “It’s difficult to articulate verbally what we do at LITE,” she says. “But once you see it, you get it. So we’re hoping to be able to show him.”
