At 5:30 p.m., Scott Fore (pictured) will present an hour-long advanced guitar workshop, in conjunction with Louisiana Folk Roots. (Advance tickets are $8, and participants are encouraged to bring their guitars). Fore is a former Lafayette resident and an internationally recognized acoustic guitarist, including the 2002 National Flatpicking Champion and the 2002 Doc Watson Flatpicking Champion, in addition to a number of other honors.
